A fluid non sticky water soluble gel. Almost odourless and colourless.

The Vitamin B ingredients and Niacin (Vitamin B3) are natural components of our skin. It is a well known fact that a deficiency causes many illnesses and body problems. And similarly with our skin with mild to extreme skin problems.

How it works

The American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery revealed at their annual meeting that very successful results have been achieved when Niacin is included in Vitamin B serums. Also that a 5% serum reduced the effects of aging in human skin and problem skin. Naturally the Vitamin B components in the serum supplement the loss of these in the skin which is causing problems. And the Niacin has been proven to increase the biosynthesis of ceramides as well as other Stratum Corneum (epidermal) lipids which provide major barrier protection to the epidermal permeability barrier of the skin.

This important barrier is responsible for keeping water in the skin and harmful environmental elements out. The barrier gets compromised as we get older. You will surely appreciate the importance of this with TEWL. And this alone makes it one of the most valuable skin care ingredients of recent years. It has also been documented to lighten skin by inhibiting the melanin transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes. And more recently yet another beneficial action.
